CALLOUT FOR COMMUNITY EVENTS
Apply by 21 Feb
We want to provide a platform for any Wandsworth or Lambeth resident aged 18 – 29 to put on their own event with us this Spring.
We are on the lookout for creative young people within our community to pitch a bold and exciting idea for an event that can happen in our building this year.
Your event will be offered a slot & platform as part of Homegrown 2022: a series of youth-led workshops, events & activities happening this April.
You may want to put on a music event or a community workshop, a dance contest, an exhibition, showcase or artist take-over – the floor is totally yours and you have the freedom to be as creative as possible.
We are open to any ideas which are by members of our community, for our community.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We want to programme events that are exciting & engaging for local people.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate and connected with their local community, and is enthusiastic about developing their skills in producing large-scale events.
Please note: This is not for the development or presentation of theatre shows.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER
We will be able to offer between £500 and £2,000 depending on your idea, as well as a space in our building to host the event as part of Homegrown in April this year.
We can also offer:
- Mentoring & Producing support
- Marketing as part of this years’ Homegrown.
- Support from our Technical team
