How do you have sex on stage? How do you even have sex?
To try and find an answer, each night, two brand new performers tell a story of desire, betrayal and loneliness. They have never rehearsed together or read the script. They are strangers.
But they are not alone – to help and guide them they are joined on stage by an Intimacy Director, trained in the art of teaching people how to touch. So, you can be rest assured that the sex will be safe. It will be consensual. And it will be good.
Since its premiere at Dublin Theatre Festival in 2022, Good Sex has toured across Europe and to New York, and now makes it’s UK premiere.

Biography
Dead Centre is an award-winning theatre company based in Dublin, Ireland known for playful, provocative work that plays with perception and reality. They are led by Artistic Directors Ben Kidd and Bush Moukarzel, and Producer Tilly Taylor.
Dead Centre’s previous productions include LIPPY, Chekhov’s First Play, Hamnet, Beckett’s Room, To Be a Machine (Version 1.0), Illness as Metaphor and Deaf Republic.
Their work has toured the world, including to BAM (New York), Schaubühne (Berlin), Hong Kong Arts Festival, Dramaten (Stockholm), Seoul Performing Arts Festival, the Young Vic, Royal Court Theatre, and many other venues across North America, Australia, Asia and Europe.

This event takes place in person in our Grand Hall. This space is on the ground floor, with step-free access via a lift.
If you have booked a ticket you will receive an email from us before your performance detailing important information about your visit.

This event will be Relaxed. We invite you to make yourself comfortable and move around if you need to and if you need to leave the event at any point you will be allowed to return to the space when you feel ready.
We want our shows to be as accessible to as many people as possible.
We offer tickets to most shows on a Pay What You Can basis throughout the year.
Tickets for Grand Hall performances in 2026 start at £16, and we have recommended pricing to help you choose a price that works for you.
We know that ticket price is a huge barrier for some. If you can afford to pay the recommended price or more, choosing to do so supports those that can’t. It makes it possible for us to continue to offer Pay What You Can and welcome those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend.
