How would you spend eternity? Would you write the great novel of our time? Learn to solve a Rubik’s Cube? Or would you stare at a screen for a decade in your pants?

Fusing visual and physical storytelling, clowning, performance art and illusion, Perpetuity explores what it means to spend an eternity? What, if anything, constitutes a soul? And just how resilient the human spirit is when you’ve been there, done that, and found the right dressing gown for you?

Inspired by Dorian Gray, lockdown and pot plants, this solo show explores a life that is never quite finished.

Biography

Shambles Ensemble is a theatre company creating visually striking work that combines movement, theatrical illusion and bold storytelling. The company makes interdisciplinary performance that draws on physical theatre, clowning, new writing and live visual stagecraft to explore the human condition.

PRE EVENT INFORMATION

This event takes place in person in our Members Bar. This space is on the first floor, with step-free access via a lift.

If you have booked a ticket you will receive an email from us before your performance detailing important information about your visit.
