Lounge out on some pillows, get comfy under a blanket, and dream up some poetry at this creative pyjama party.

Poetry Pyjama Party is an event for first time or inexperienced poetry performers to put on their PJs, workshop some writing, and read their work in a safe, relaxed space.

The first part of the evening will be a facilitated workshop filled with writing exercises, games, and top tips, led by Ella Dorman-Gajic. You can work independently or collaborate with others depending on how you’re feeling.

For those who want to, there will be an intimate open mic sharing where you can test out the new ideas you’ve worked on or showcase a more developed piece.

We encourage all attendees to come in clothes that make them feel comfortable. Pyjamas are highly recommended.

VISIT OUR ACCESS PAGE

We want our shows to be as accessible to as many people as possible.

We offer tickets to most shows on a Pay What You Can basis throughout the year.

Tickets for Homegrown Festival performances in 2025 start at £4, and we have recommended pricing to help you choose a price that works for you.

We know that ticket price is a huge barrier for some. If you can afford to pay the recommended price or more, choosing to do so supports those that can’t. It makes it possible for us to continue to offer Pay What You Can and welcome those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend.
