Introducing Voyage Through Sound: Day to Night Party

Day Event: Listening Party

Join us at our Day Listening Party, a relaxing and joyful free space where you can listen to records, play games, and learn about local musicians. It’s a place where record swapping is encouraged, enjoying great music is expected, and connecting with strangers is the goal.

Voyage through Sound is a celebration that champions the Third Space, which has been rapidly disappearing over the years. We are passionate about delivering a space for the community and beyond to hang out, find joy, and create lasting memories.

Come join us at the Studio and experience an exciting voyage through sound from 1pm to 6pm. Bring your favourite record and listen to some cool beats from our DJs and just be!

1 – 5pm: Listening Party – bring your records!

5 – 6pm: Divine (live DJ set)

It will be a night to remember, where disco balls and soul trains collide with epic music from our talented all-female DJs. Dance to great tunes from genres such as Afrobeats, Funky, Amapiano, 90s Drum and Bass, and many more to create memories after dark at Battersea Arts Centre.

From 8 pm to 12 am, the night is yours to express yourself through dance and end the voyage.

Pay what you can, and tell a friend to tell a friend. Book your tickets for good vibes and magic.

REO

(Instagram – @roseebonyotilia)

Having played out for two years, London based REO pushes out an old school sound, playing predominantly jazzier and darker old school Jungle and Drum and Bass vinyl. REO’s two years of mixing publicly has seen her play We Out Here festival with Rupture, who she’s also played with at notable venues Corsica and Fold. Her love of mixing stems from her love of jazz and jazz fusion music, and her previous instrument practices, which can be heard through her selection. REO also collects and plays Broken Beat, which inspired her to create “Happiness Starts with Dancing”, a community which in future aims to provide education about the rave and wider social contexts, as well as hosting dances which subvert some of the typical nightlife constructs. You can find REO playing often at Venue MOT, and frequenting with crews such as Singularity and Hardcore Hangin’.

Izzi

(Instagram – @izzi_thein)

Experimenting with the intersection of global sounds & rhythms with forward-thinking UK club music, Izzi is guided by a love of percussion. This translates to hybridised club sounds with influences from hard drum, leftfield techno and UK funky, as well as dancehall, neoperreo/dembow and amapiano. Her diverse heritage and fervent curiosity has led to an interest in many different genres and styles.

Moonz

(Instagram – @moonie_moo1)

Moonz (AKA Muna) is a DJ originally from Somalia and based in London. Having always been passionate about music, she connected with several DJs and fell in love with the artform. We want our shows to be as accessible to as many people as possible.

We offer tickets to most shows on a Pay What You Can basis throughout the year.

Tickets for performances in 2025 start at £9.50, and we have recommended pricing to help you choose a price that works for you.

We know that ticket price is a huge barrier for some. If you can afford to pay the recommended price or more, choosing to do so supports those that can’t. It makes it possible for us to continue to offer Pay What You Can and welcome those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend.
