There is a dark green curtain, a woman with red hair sits behind a table. On the table is a vase of dying flowers and lots of microphones. The microphones are all pointing at her. She rests her chin on her hand and looks into the distance.

A show about censorship and freedom of expression.

In 2022, a show was cancelled while it was still in rehearsal. The idea of what the show might be created a demand for it to be left unseen.

A Little Inquest Into What We Are All Doing Here is piece of theatre – part autobiography, part fiction – that questions the limits of performance: what we make it for, what we go to it for, and what we are willing to stand up for.

Winner of the The Scotsman Fringe First Award.

‘A celebration of expressing what you believe in despite the fear of how others might respond’ ★★★★ The Scotsman

‘This thoughtful and probing front line dispatch is delivered with an unexpectedly devastating theatrical swagger’ ★★★★ Lyn Gardner, The Stage

‘A truly uplifting piece about resistance, survival and community’ Total Theatre Magazine

VISIT OUR ACCESS PAGE

We want our shows to be as accessible to as many people as possible.

We offer tickets to most shows on a Pay What You Can basis throughout the year.

Tickets for Bloom performances in 2025 start at £4, and we have recommended pricing to help you choose a price that works for you.

We know that ticket price is a huge barrier for some. If you can afford to pay the recommended price or more, choosing to do so supports those that can’t. It makes it possible for us to continue to offer Pay What You Can and welcome those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend.
